Foodies rejoice! With the holidays fast approaching, several of the valley’s top-notch restaurants will serve up some delicious eats.

New Bouchon Tasting Menu Features Black Truffle’s
Thomas Keller’s Bouchon will launch a new tasting menu on Wednesday (December 14th) that highlights the cuisine of France’s Périgord region with a special focus on the classic Black Truffle.
The menu wil be available as a 4-course prix-fixe dinner option ($80 per person) and there will be special wine pairings offered as well ($40 per person). If you’re looking for something a bit more low key, there will be fresh Shaved Black Truffles available for a supplement of $20-$25 per course.
Highlights from the tasting menu, which will run through December 30th, include:
Consommé aux Truffe en Croute
Truffle-scented beef consommé, garden root vegetables and truffle batons in a pastry crust
Terrine de Capon en Glacé
Poached capon, truffled mousse, mushroom glace de viande and cabbage fondue with chestnut purée
Pithiviers de Cabécou
Baked Cabécou wrapped in puff pastry with truffle-prune jam
January is Napa Valley Restaurant Month
The month of January will be restaurant month in the valley with more than 50 of the region’s restaurants and hotels planning to offer hand-selected menus and special deals.
Among the participating restaurants are Auberge du Soleil, La Toque, Solbar, Bouchon, Fish Story, Bottega Napa Valley, Cole’s Chop House, FARM, Brix, Brannan’s Grill and Mustard’s Grill, among others.
Sample menus and offers include an “All Truffles” menu at La Toque, half-off all bottled wines at Fish Story and $1 oysters at Pearl Restaurant. Find more information here.
