Cork Bits: ideas for your Napa Valley weekend

by Karen on November 17, 2011

The final weekend before Thanksgiving is upon us. If you’ll be in town over the next few days here are a few events you may want to check out.

Friday, November 18th

  • From 5pm – 8pm downtown Napa’s Back Room Wines will host Back Room Blow Out XLIV. For $10 per person you’ll be able to visit and taste with four local vintners, including Poem Cellars and Montagna Winery. No reservations are necessary and you can call 707-226-1378 for details

Saturday, November 19th and Sunday, November 20th

  • From 10am – 5pm both days the Holiday Train Festival will take place at the Napa Valley Expo. This is a free event and you (and maybe the kids?) will be able to enjoy watching HO scale trains run through a model of the Napa Valley. Call 707-253-8428 for more information
  • From 10am – 4pm both days the Holiday in Carneros event will take place. For $40 per person, you’ll be able to visit various Carneros wineries and enjoy their open houses, which will include food and wine pairings, live music, unique tasting opportunities and more. Ring 800-909-4352 for details

Enjoy the weekend!
