Flavor! Napa Valley: ‘non stop wine and food goodness’

If you needed another reason to visit wine country, you’re in luck. In a couple weeks the Napa Valley will play host to the first ever Flavor! Napa Valley, which is described as a “four-day extravaganza” of food and wine. From the looks of the line-up, it won’t disappoint.

From November 17th – November 20th, world class chefs will work their magic by creating dishes to pair with hundreds of top-flight wines from the region. There will be cooking demonstrations, intimate meals, wine tastings and a grand tasting event featuring more than 100 wineries pouring everything from Albariño to Zinfandel, all paired with perfectly matched dishes from more than two-dozen Napa Valley restaurants.

Want to learn more about wine from a chef’s perspective? Looking to understand more about the art of poaching? How about brushing up on your sushi and sashimi making skills?

Flavor! offers opportunities to taste, learn and interact with culinary and wine experts such as Thomas Keller (French Laundry, Ad Hoc), Masaharu Morimoto (Morimoto Napa), Ken Frank (La Toque), Michael Chiarello (Bottega), Cindy Pawlcyn (Brassica, Mustards, Cindy’s Backstreet Kitchen) and many more.

Net roceeds from this inaugural event will benefit the scholarship fund at the Culinary Institute of America. Many of the events are already sold out, but a few tickets remain.
