Fall is in full swing and the valley is abuzz. Not only is the annual wine grape harvest finally in high gear, but there is plenty of news on the culinary front as well.

Tune in to the 2011 Napa Valley Wine harvest on your computer
During the 2010 wine grape harvest we told you that a few wineries were experimenting with live video that would allow anyone with an Internet connection to watch harvest unfold from the comfort of their own home.

This year, several vintners have banded together to do a series of live videos during harvest. The series kicked-off yesterday at Robert Mondavi Winery and continues throughout the week. Tune in here.

Slew of new restaurants opening across the valley
This morning our friends at Inside Scoop SF shared details on five recently opened or soon-to-be opened restaurants here in the valley. We told you about Alex and Brassica long ago.

Check out the Scoop for details on La Contesa and French Blue in St. Helena, Redd Wood in Yountville and more.
