Eiko’s Restaurant Napa Valley opens in downtown Napa
Several weeks back we told you about the pending opening of downtown Napa’s newest Japanese restaurant, Eiko’s Napa Valley. Well, today is the day the restaurant officially opens and here’s a description of the space from the website:
The restaurant’s signature design element is an elegant Ipe (ee-pay) wood from Brazil. It separates the main dining room and the lounge simulating a giant wood basket greeting you as you enter the main dining room. Above the Sushi bar a 12-by-8-foot Japanese inscription screen hand painted by a Buddhist Monk fosters a vibrant atmosphere while panoramic views of Downtown Napa First Street…
#SauvBlanc Day underway across the globe
Today is officially #SauvBlanc day. What does that mean?
Essentially it’s an open invitation to anyone around the world to crack open a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc and then discuss the wine and the varietal with others doing the same on Twitter. Everyone who wants to participate simply needs to tag their tweets with the #SauvBlanc.
