New multi winery tasting room coming to St. Helena

by TrevR on June 1, 2011

The winery tasting room craze continues. Last week we told you about the Velo Vino grand opening and now it looks like St. Helena will be adding another to the mix.

The latest will be a multi winery tasting room with at least four vintners represented.

The tasting room is located in the same area as Clinic Ole on Main Street just a couple blocks south of downtown–between Velo Vino and Cindy Pawlcyn’s Go Fish. Construction on the interior is currently visible from the street.

According to posted signage, the participating parties include Briar Creek Cellars, Spotted Owl Wines, Terroir Napa Valley and Partridge Cellars.

In addition to Velo Vino, St. Helena saw Tamber Bey Vineyards open a tasting room on Adams St. last Fall.

No word yet on an expected opening date.

Great work! I manage a tasting room for three small Barossa wineries, one of which is my own, in Tanunda, in the Barossa Valley, South Australia. It works well, not only for the wineries, but also for customers who love being able to taste a variety of wines at the one location:)
