We’re nearly half way through the month of May–where does the time go?

If you’re lucky enough to be in the Napa Valley this weekend do yourself a favor and check out any or all of the following events.

Saturday, May 14th

  • From 10am – 12pm Napa County Landmarks will host a Riverfront & Mansion District walking tour. The tour, which starts in the parking lot of the Hatt Building at 500 Main Street in Napa, will include the riverfront of the historic Napa Abajo neighborhood. Cost is $10 per person ($5 per NCL or NCHS member) and reservations are recommended. Call 707-255-1836
  • From 12:30pm – 3:30pm Clos du Val winery on Silverado Trail will host a BBQ as it releases a new vintage of its Stags Leap Cabernet Sauvignon. For $45 per person ($35 per wine club member) you’ll be able to enjoy wine, food and music. For those looking for something a bit more geeky, you’re in luck–winemaker John Clews will be on-hand to host a blending session. Call 707-261-5208 for all the details
  • From 1pm – 5pm Girard Winery in Yountville will host a ‘Sip n’ Slider’ event to celebrate National Hamburger month (yum!). For $15 per person (free for wine club members), you’ll be able to taste various Girard wines along with a ‘lip smacking’ slider. Call 707-968-9297 for more information
