This weekend in the Napa Valley there are a ton of release parties. Read on for a rundown of a few that look promising for all you wine lovers out there.
Saturday, April 9th
- From 11am – 5pm the annual Pope Valley vintners tasting will take place at Pope Valley Winery. For $20 per person you’ll be able to enjoy cheese and fruit platters, do an olive oil tasting and of course taste various wines. There will also be live music, picnic tables and bocce ball and all profits will go to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Call 707-965-1246 for more details
- From 12pm – 4pm Hall will host its ‘spring fling’ event, which will include several new releases paired with three small bites. Call 707-967-2626 for more information and to make a reservation
- From 1pm – 3pm Peju Winery in Rutherford will host “Tunes in the Tent.” For $35 per person you’ll be able to taste the winery’s reds, whites and pinks along with appetizers from the winery chef. There will also be music under the tent. Call 707-963-3600 for more details
- From 11am – 4pm Piña Napa Valley will host a party to celebrate the release of its 2008 Howell Mountain Buckeye Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon
