For well over a decade now our family has participated, in one way shape or form, in the annual Reach for the Stars Fashion Show and Luncheon. This year’s event, which will be the 18th annual, is scheduled for April 30th at The Meritage Resort in Napa.

Reach for the Stars is put on by the Queen of the Valley Medical Center Foundation and is a local celebration of strength and survivorship for those impacted by cancer. Proceeds go to the Queen’s Cancer Wellness Program, which combines exercise, nutritional counseling, psycho-social and spiritual support for patients that have completed or recently received treatment for cancer.
This is a truly inspiring event and one that a ton of hard work goes in to in order to pull off. Cost to attend is $80 per person and you can also purchase a “star” in honor or remembrance of those close to you that have been touched by cancer.
