Just over a week ago we attended the Silver Oak Cellars release day, which was held at the winery in Oakville to celebrate the release of the 2006 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. All told there were somewhere in the neighborhood of 2,000 people at the event and the weather was spectacular as the temperature peaked in the low 80s.
In addition to the new release Napa Valley Cabernet, attendees were able to sample the Twomey Cellars 2006 Merlot and enjoy food from local restaurants such as Bistro Don Giovanni, BarBersQ, La Toque, Tra Vigne and Fish Story.
