New wine show ‘Three Thieves’ premieres on Cooking Channel on 1/27

by TrevR on January 26, 2011

Way back in early 2007 (wow, has it really been THAT long?!) when we started this blog one of our first entries was on a wine called The Show, which is produced by The Three Thieves.

Not too long after that we tracked down one of the Thieves, Charles Bieler, for a short interview. Now, nearly four years to the day, the Thieves are taking their show on the road and on to your television.

Tomorrow, January 27th, the Cooking Channel will air a one-hour premiere of Three Thieves, which it describes as “an entertaining and enlightening blend of wine, travel and food.”

In addition to Bieler, the show will feature Joel Gott, the proprietor of Taylor’s Automatic Refresher Gott’s Roadside Tray Gourmet and Roger Scommegna.

The premiere will see the Thieves visit Chile on a mission to find “great wine” that they can bottle, bring back to the US and market and sell at prices considered a ‘steal’.

Here’s a short promotional video:

What do you think, will you tune in?
