It’s a rainy Thursday here in the Napa Valley and we’re tucked away at our favorite local coffee house getting some work done.

With the weekend almost here, we’re also looking at what will be happening in the valley over the next few days…

Saturday, December 11th

  • From 10am – 4pm at Bale Grist Mill the ‘Pioneer Christmas’ event will take place. For $5 per person (kids under 6 free) you’ll be able to enjoy Christmas Carols around the wood-burning stove, make ornaments and holiday decorations, decorate a gingerbread cookie, string popcorn and cranberries, and generally help decorate the Mill’s Christmas tree. There will also be milling demonstrations. Call 707-942-4575 for more information
  • From 1pm – 4pm Merryvale Vineyards will host its holiday barrel tasting event. For $25 per person you’ll be able to thieve wine directly from French Oak barrels alongside the winemaker and taste future releases. There will be a sampling of finger foods and live music as well. Call 707-963-7777 to RSVP

Sunday, December 12th

  • From 12pm – 4pm Viader Winery in Deer Park will host a holiday open house of its own. For $35 per person (free for wine club members), you’ll be able to mingle with the Viader family and enjoy a pairing of their wines with homemade wine-infused chocolate truffles prepared by Executive Chef Mariela Viader. Call 707-963-3816 for more information

Cheers everyone, enjoy the weekend!
