It’s December and the weather is cold and crisp here in the Napa Valley–very refreshing if you ask us. We’ve got a couple upcoming events that warrant a special call out, so check out the below.
Tyler Florence and Michael Chiarello team up on 12/9
Chef Michael Chiarello (NapaStyle, Bottega) will host Chef Tyler Florence (who today is expected to open his new Napa Valley restaurant “Rotisserie & Wine“) in Yountville at 4pm on December 9th.
Florence will do a cooking demonstration featuring recipes from his latest book “Family Meal” at Chiarello’s NapaStyle. That will be followed by a book signing (Florence’s “Family Meal” and Chiarello’s “Bottega”), which will cost you $15 per person to check out. Following that, the two will go just across the way to Chiarello’s Bottega restaurant to prepare a special menu for the evening. For $85 per person you’ll be able to enjoy a five course prix fix meal (or order a la carte). Call 707-945-1229 for more information.
Wine Country Comedy Festival on 12/11
Meanwhile on December 11th, Mutineer Magazine will host its Holiday Comedy Festival just over the hill at Jacuzzi Family Vineyards in Sonoma. The event, which runs $35 per person, will start at 7pm and will benefit A Child’s Right.
In addition to a great line-up of comedians, including host Ben Morrison and special guest Jonathan Goldsmith, several of our favorite local food trucks will be in action at the event as well, including Dim Sum Charlies and Mark’s the Spot.
