October is upon us and so is the weekend.

Weather should be absolutely perfect here in the Napa Valley this weekend, so get out and check out any or all of the following!

Saturday, October 2nd

  • From 11am – 4pm the 3rd annual Yountville Chili Cook Off will take place at one of our kids’ favorite places in the valley–Yountville Park. There will be food (chili, obviously), drink, prizes and entertainment provided by Dr. Loco’s Rockin’ Jalapeno Band. Call 707-944-0904 for more information
  • From 4:30pm – 8:30pm our neighbors at Monticello Vineyards will host a 2010 harvest party. For $65 per person in advance ($75 per person at the door), you’ll be able to enjoy food, wine and live music, as well as participate in live and silent auctions. The event will be hosted by Napa Sunrise Rotary and 100% of the proceeds will be donated. Call 707-226-9819 for details

Sunday, October 3rd

  • From 11am – 4pm the 33rd annual Yountville Days Parade and Festival will take place in, you guessed it, Yountville. The event is free to the public and will start with a high noon parade from the Veterans Home up Washington Street all the way to Yountville Park. At the park there will be food, beverages, entertainment and more for the whole family. Call 707-944-8712 for more information
