Harvest is in full swing here in the Napa Valley–it’s a beautiful time of year to be sure. It’s also a time when there are no shortage of activities to check out.

One such event will take place a couple weeks from now in Yountville at one of Chef Thomas Keller’s establishments.

Ad Hoc, Keller’s casual, family-style restaurant, will host a “Block Party” event from 5pm – 10pm on Saturday, October 9th.

For $49 per person, guests will be able to chow down on several Ad Hoc favorites including fried chicken wings, corn and mushroom salad, wood-fired pizzas, as well as Texas-style barbecued baby back ribs. Of course there will also be wines from local wineries such as Dominus, Stony Hill, Heitz Cellars, Scholium Project, Lorenza, Ziata, Chappellet, Copain, Ridge, Storybrook Mountain Vineyards and Wallace. The restaurant’s house band, “Ad Rock”, will provide the live music and there will be a magnum wine bottle raffle.

Tickets can be purchased by calling 707-944-2487, in person at Bouchon, Ad Hoc and Bouchon Bakery in Yountville, or via email to Nick[at] All profits will be donated to Clinic Ole, a not-for-profit community clinic which provides health care to agricultural workers in Napa County..
