Whew! What a crazy past week it has been. We’ve been busy with family stuff (can you believe our oldest just turned three!), but rest assured, we’re still alive and kicking.

Here are a couple events taking place this weekend that are on our radar.

Saturday, August 21st

  • From 11am – 1pm Trefethen Winery in Napa will host an interactive tasting hosted by nationally acclaimed wine expert, author and TV star Andrea Robinson. For $50 per person ($40 per wine club member), you’ll learn hands-on from Andrea about how food and wine can be transformed when perfectly matched. Call 800-556-4847 for more details
  • From 5pm – 9pm the Clinic Ole Chili Ball will take place at Charles Krug Winery in St. Helena. For $60 per adult ($75 at the door) and $10 per child age 7-12, you’ll be able to enjoy chili by various Napa Valley chefs, tacos by Mike Chelini and the Stony Hill Gang and a bit of dancing. Beer and wine will be available for sale and the event will benefit Clinic Ole, which provides affordable health care in Napa County. Call 707-254-1774 x239 for more information
