It’s always fun to see people in our community coming together for the greater good. Such is the case with the 1st Annual Battle of the Barrels Food Drive, which is taking place now through August 8th.
The concept is simple: Team Napa and Team UpValley will battle it out over the course of a week (the drive started August 1st) to see which team can collect the greatest amount of non-perishable food donations. The donations will benefit the Napa Valley Food Bank and the drive will culminate with a weigh-in celebration during the week of August 9th.
Look for the ‘Battle’ at the Chefs Market in Napa on Thursday and at Cheers! St. Helena on Friday.
