A short work week means the weekend is nearly upon us once again–hooray!

You’ll do well to check out any (or if you’re feeling really bold, all) of the following events.

Saturday, July 10th

  • From 12pm – 4pm Bell Wine Cellars will host a Syrah, BBQ & Bocce event on the patio at the winery in Yountville. For $30 per person ($25 per wine club member) you’ll be able to sip Rose, pair BBQ with the winery’s Canterbury Syrah and play a game of Bocce if you like. Sounds like a good time to us! Call 707-944-1673 to RSVP
  • At 7pm the next installment of the Robert Mondavi Summer Music Festival will take place at The Robert Mondavi Winery in Oakville. The evening will feature live music from the Court Yard Hounds–the debut of the Dixie Chicks Sisters. Gates open at 5pm and costs vary, call 888-769-5299 for more information

Sunday, July 11th

  • From 1pm – 5pm Domaine Chandon in Yountville will celebrate Bastille Day with bubbles (of course) and live music on the terrace provided by Low Rent Hot Club. There’s no admission fee and wine and food offerings will be available for purchase. Special prizes will be given to guests who dress up for the occasion. Call 888-242-6366 for all the details
  • From 5:30pm – 8pm the Napa Valley Opera House will play host to a pre-opening celebration for the much anticipated Morimoto Napa, which is reportedly set to open at the Napa river walk as soon as next week! For $95 per person, Iron Chef Morimoto will provide you with a special preview of sushi and menu favorites from his new restaurant paired with select wines. Live music will be provided by the Michael Belair Trio and proceeds benefit the Napa Valley Opera House. Call 707-226-7372 for more information

There you have it, get out there and enjoy!
