The downtown Napa dining scene has a new entrant starting this evening.

The space on First Street occupied by First Squeeze for years has been renovated and will re-open tonight as Bistro Sabor.

Bistro Sabor, which is being run by Ariel Ceja of Ceja Vineyards, will serve up “Latino street food” and a sign at the restaurant invites passers by to come in and get “tacos and saké.”

In March, Ceja told the Napa Valley Register the restaurant would serve up “fast casual” food with menu items ranging from $6 – $12 and including both lighter and heavier fare.

The restaurant is doing a ‘soft’ opening tonight, Saturday and Sunday with dinner service starting at 6pm each day. Normal hours of operation are expected to start on June 16th.
