Believe it or not, the month of May is nearing an end–though you sure wouldn’t know it based on the weather we’ve been having here in the Napa Valley!

Regardless, here are a couple events that promise to make your weekend a bit brighter…

Saturday, May 22nd

  • From 11am – 3pm Trefethen Winery in Napa will host its ‘Fete de la fleur’ celebration in honor of the flowering of the vines. For $45 per person ($35 per wine club member) you’ll be able to try several of the winery’s recent vintages, including the 2005 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon. There will be music from the California Malibu’s, guided tours through the vineyards, wood fired pizzas and more. Call 800-556-4847 to RSVP
  • From 1pm – 4pm Cornerstone Cellars will host its first-ever release party. For $25 per person ($40 per couple, free for wine club members) you’ll be able to enjoy “special treats” from Chef Bob Hurley as well as older vintages of the winery’s Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon. Call 707-945-0388 to RSVP

Happy Weekend!
