A gorgeous weekend is nearly here and we’ve got a special edition of Cork Bits for you this time around.
There are no shortage of events, so read on for a nugget that should make you happy to be a Cork Board reader!
Friday, April 23rd
- For the third year in a row, William Hill Estate in Napa invites you to share stunning views and wines on the 4th Friday of the month (April through September) with tomorrow being the first event of 2010. From 5:30 to dusk you’re invited to gather with friends, enjoy a bottle of William Hill Estate wine and watch the sun sink over the valley in what is dubbed Sunset on the Bench. The winery also welcomes picnickers and an RSVP is appreciated and can be made by calling 707-265-3024.
Saturday, April 24th
- From 11am – 4pm Piña Napa Valley (located at 8060 Silverado Trail) will host its annual Spring Release Party. In addition to the much anticipated 2007 Howell Mountain, Buckeye Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon, the winery will be releasing its 2009 Napa Chardonnay. As always, they’ll be serving their infamous Paella and brownies and will be offering their Reserve Tasting of 4 vintages of the Buckeye Vineyard Howell Mountain Cabernets for $10. Here’s the really great news, when you check in, mention that you read about the event on The Cork Board and the Reserve Tasting will be free!!!
- From 5pm – 8pm you’re invited to taste the newly released Ahnfeldt Napa Valley Cuvee, a “lush blend” made up of Cabernet, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Syrah fruit. There will also be local musicians and food at this event, which will take place at Uncorked at Oxbow 605 First St. (across the street from the Oxbow Public Market)
Cheers!
