This Thursday, April 22nd Chef Michael Chiarello will welcome fellow chef and restaurateur Lidia Bastianich to his Yountville haunts for a special evening of food, wine and fun.
Bastianich, who has restaurants in Manhattan, Pittsburgh and Kansas City, is also the host of Lidia’s Italy, a television cooking show on PBS we find ourselves watching every now and again on a slow weekend.
Bastianich is promoting her book, Lidia Cooks from the Heart of Italy, and will be doing a signing and wine tasting event at NapStyle starting at 5:30pm. From there, she will head across the way to join Chef Chiarello at Bottega where the two will create a five-course dinner showcasing “signature recipes” of Felidia (Bastianich’s Manhattan restaurant) and Bottega, paired with Bastianich wines.
Dinner will be offered prix-fixe or a la carte from 5:30pm – 9:30pm and reservations can be made by calling 707-945-1050.
