Cork Bits: ideas for your Napa Valley weekend

by Karen on March 25, 2010

As a few Spring showers move out of the area our attention is starting to shift to the weekend.

Here are a few events worth checking out if you’re in town.

Friday, March 26th

  • From 6pm – 8pm both the St. Helena and Napa locations of Gott’s Roadside Tray Gourmet (previously Taylor’s Automatic Refresher) will be giving away free cheeseburgers, Ahi burgers and “Seoul” burgers (kimchi and pork) as well as free fries, homemade ice cream sandwiches and drinks to celebrate their recent re-branding.

Saturday, March 27th

  • From 12pm – 4pm Bennett Lane Winery in Calistoga will host its Maximus Release Party. For $30 per person ($20 per club member) you’ll be able to enjoy a taste of the newly released 2006 Maximus Red Feasting Wine. Call 877-6290-6272 for more information
  • At 3:30pm Rutherford Grange in Rutherford will host its first annual crab feed. For $35 per adult ($10 per child 15 and under) you’ll be able to enjoy freshly caught, live crab, Caesar Salad, garlic bread, pasta, beer, wine and more, with proceeds going to benefit Rutherford Grange. Call 707-265-9180 for all the details

Cheers all!
