This is a big week here in the Napa Valley as many local vintners are gearing up for Premiere Napa Valley, the ‘mid-winter barrel auction’ that takes place the 19th and 20th.
If you’re not ‘in the trade’ as they say, here are a few events you may want to check out this weekend. Enjoy!
Saturday, February 20th
- From 1pm – 4pm the 8th Annual Barrel Tasting ‘extravaganza’ will take place at Merryvale in St. Helena. For $45 per person ($25 per wine club member), you’ll be able to hang with Merryvale’s winemaking team while enjoying six barrel samples of Merryvale wines and library wines. - Starting at 6:30pm St. Helena’s V. Sattui Winery will host an old-fashioned lobster feed, yep, you read that right, lobster feed. Yum! Entertainment will provided by the San Francisco swing sextet Stompy Jones and a portion of the proceeds will benefit Napa Valley Youths with Special Needs. Call 800-799-2337 to make your reservation
Sunday, February 21st
- From 11am – 12:30pm Beringer Vineyards in St. Helena will offer the unique pairing of wine and yoga.
