Itinerary: daytripping through the Oak Knoll District and Yountville

by TrevR on December 29, 2009

In the past few days we’ve had visitors, which means we’ve been busy planning wine tasting and dining itineraries.

Rather than have our hard work end now that our guests are gone, we’ve decided to recreate one of the itinerary’s we put together and share it with all of you.

The objective of this one-day itinerary was to take our guests to a few wineries they hadn’t been to before (they visit the valley a couple times each year) and give them a taste of the varied dining options available in these parts.

We started off in the heart of the Oak Knoll District at Monticello Vineyards and ended the evening in Yountville with dinner at Redd.

Check out the full itinerary for yourself. As always, clicking on the ‘Get Directions’ link on the map will give you turn-by-turn driving directions and by logging in and clicking on the ‘Modify’ button you can use this itinerary as the basis for creating one of your own.

You can also browse through our full list of Napa Valley itineraries.
