If you happen to be lucky enough not to be spending this final weekend before Christmas doing some last-minute shopping then you’ll likely be seeking some R&R.

If that’s the case, you’re in luck as we’ve got a couple events on tap over the next few days here in the Napa Valley that should do just the trick…

  • From 12pm – 4pm Provenance Vineyards will host its Holiday Open House where you’ll be able to enjoy great wines, food and live music. • At 7:30pm at the Napa Valley Opera House the non-profit children’s choir VOENA will perform. For $20 per adult ($15 for those 12 and under) you’ll be able to enjoy some 100+ voices ranging in age from 6 to 18 performing a cappella vocal arrangements by using multiple percussion instruments, dance, and theatrical elements done in a splash of color, embracing our many cultural differences. Saturday, December 19th and Sunday, December 20th

  • At 2pm on both days, Hans Fahden Vineyards (4855 Petrified Forest Road in Calistoga) will host ‘Carols in the Caves’. The event, which is $45 per person (no children under 10 allowed), will see age-old carols performed in wine caves by The Improvisator, master of rare instruments. There will be dulcimers, drums, flutes, bells and more all playing in perfect harmony underground. Call 707-224-4222 for more information
