It’s October, harvest is in full swing and another busy weekend is nearly here!

Here are a few events worth checking out if you’re in town…

Friday, October 2nd

  • From 6pm – 9pm the final Cheers! St. Helena event of the season will take place in downtown St. Helena. More than 65 local wineries will be pouring at various locations throughout the downtown area and as always there will be participating restaurants and local merchants as well. There is no admission fee and a nightly tasting pass is $35 per person (over 21 only, of course). Call 707-968-9478 for more information

Saturday, October 3rd

  • From 1pm – 6pm the Wine Country Cajun Food and Music Festival will take place in downtown Napa. The event, which takes place on First Street, is free and includes entertainment, cooking demonstrations, Cajun cooking to enjoy, wine tasting and beer and fun activities for kids.
  • From 3pm – 6pm at the Vintner’s Golf Club in Yountville the 10th Annual Mt. Veeder Appellation Wine Tasting event will take place. For $50 per person, you’ll be able to taste numerous Mt. Veeder wines (in a logo wine glass) including Fontanella Family Winery, Latour Vineyards, Spotted Owl and others. There will also be live music and food and tickets can be purchased online in advance or at the door
