It’s Thursday evening, meaning the weekend is near. Horray! Gotta love a short week.
There are certainly no shortage of harvest parties taking place at numerous wineries throughout the valley these days (’tis the season). Here are a couple (non-harvest party) events that should allow you to get out, enjoy the gorgeous weather and pick-up some nice vino…
Saturday, September 12th
- The 33rd Annual Napa Wine and Crafts Fair will take place from 10am – 5:30pm on First Street in Downtown Napa. The event, which has no admission fee, will feature 150 artists showing original, handcrafted art and crafts, Napa Valley wines, micro-brewed beer and plenty of food. New this year is a dedicated children’s area, with interactive arts and activities geared towards the little ones, as well as a wine garden in Coombs Plaza. For more information call 707-257-0322
- From 12pm – 4pm the Louis M. Martini Annual Cellar Sale will take place at the winery in St. Helena. This annual event enables you to purchase cases of older vintage wines and big bottles at savings of 50-70% off retail prices. There will be a limited number of bottles available that have been signed by Mike Martini and you’ll be able to enjoy Italian cheeses and library wine tastings. For more information call the Founder’s Club office at 866-549-2582
Happy weekending!
