A recent visit to Oxbow Public Market provided a couple interesting updates on two of the tenants at the south end of the market.
Way back in May we first told you about Pica Pica Maize Kitchen’s plans for expansion. Now, the Pica Pica Bar is nearly a reality (as you can see from the photo above). We were told by an employee the new bar is expected to open at some point in September and according to the menu it will offer draft and bottled beer, red and white sangria by the glass or pitcher, red, white and rose wine by the glass and more.
Meanwhile we noted Pica Pica’s neighbor Folio Enoteca, which closed in early July for renovations and a revamped food and wine offering, was still closed. Folio had originally planned to re-open on August 1st, which obviously didn’t happen and there’s no word on an updated time line at this point.
