Cork Bits: ideas for your Napa Valley weekend

A warm and sunny Thursday is here, which can only mean one thing–the weekend is within sight!

Check out these two wallet-friendly Napa Valley events if you’re in town this weekend.

Friday, August 14th

  • From 5pm – 8pm downtown Napa’s Back Room Wines will be pouring eight different wines, all of which will be on sale for under $12 per bottle. There is a $10 tasting fee for the event, which will take place at First and Main Streets. No reservation is required and you can call 707-226-1378 for additional details

Saturday, August 15th

  • From 11am -3pm you’re invited to Punk Dog Winery in Napa for a pre-harvest party. The winery will pouring Punk Dog, Madison Chase, PB Hein Vineyards, Fog Hill (a new brand), and Dacalier and Tim Hanni, a master sommelier and chef, will be on hand to chat about food and wine pairings. Punk Dog Winery is located at 918 Enterprise Way in Napa and you can call 707-738-6711 for more information
