Trinchero Family Estates updates ‘Wine4′ series with red and white ‘Wine4′ Sangria

As I write this post, I’m sipping on a glass of Trinchero Family Estates’ 2007 California Red ‘ Wine4 Grillin’, which is a blend of Zinfandel, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon.

This particular wine, which comes in box form, was available at Cost Plus World Market’s throughout the country for the better part of the last year. We, along with many of you, found it to be a quality wine–great for casual drinking or use at a summertime party–that didn’t break the bank.

However, as many of you commenters have noted, the Wine4 Grillin’–as well as the counterpart Wine4 Chillin’–is in extremely scarce supply these days and from what we gather, Trinchero doesn’t plan to offer similar wines this year.

Instead, our local Cost Plus is carrying two new versions of the Wine4 boxed wines–this time offering a ‘Wine4 Sangria’ series. The wine follows the same packaging (an eco-friendly box with three liters worth of wine inside) and is available in red and white versions for right around $16 per box.

We’ve not yet given the Wine4 Sangria a try (we’re still stocked up on last year’s Wine4 Grillin’ and Wine4 Chillin’), so if you’ve had it, leave us a comment and let us know what you thought!

I just ran into this boxed wine at a “World Market” outside of Chicago. I’ve been drinking the Red all week, and I really enjoy it.

    2 thumbs up.

The white is really good. I came across it just today and brought home a box and am sitting here with a glass right now. I will definitely be buying it again!

My friends and I came across the boxes of Sangria in Myrtle Beach, SC. We decided to purchase a box of White. It is wonderful. I immediately went back to World Market and purchased another box (before they sold out), and I ended up buying a third box before the summer ended (do you know how nicely those bags pack in a cooler for the beach?). I am now sorry to say that I am now unable to find this product, in fact, I stumbled on this page trying to find the product online!

I previously purchased the Almadeen White Sangria and it's no longer available. The Wine4 White Sangria from World Market is very good. I live in Colorado and in Colorado we can only buy wine and other liquor at liquor stores. I am trying to find somewhere that will agree to ship more of this Wine4 White Sangria to me in ColoradoKerri

The Target store in Glendale (Denver suburb on Colorado Blvd) carries the Target brand of white sangria in a box. It’s the only Target in the state that can carry it due to liquor laws.

Looking forward to serving both the White and Red Sangria at our daughter’s wedding this July. It is very difficult to find but thankfully I am a tenacious Mother of the Bride.

Tried the Wine4 Sangria Red and found it to be fruity, inexpensive and light. It might be a little sweet but many of our non wine drinking friends found it to be enjoyable. Great for hot summer afternoons.
