The San Francisco Chronicle recently published a few recommendations for one perfect day in the Napa Valley. Where did they suggest, you ask?
For starters, the Chronicle recommends Artesa Winery in the Carneros region, which is located at the southern-end of the valley. Not a bad choice, although we’d likely suggest starting at either Domaine Carneros for some bubbles or Ceja Vineyards for a relaxing first few sips.
After lunch in Yountville, the itinerary takes you to one of our favorites, Cliff Lede Vineyards (photos), where you’ll find some amazingly solid Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet Sauvignon.
We’ve re-created the itinerary over on our community site, so go check out the entire thing if you’re so inclined. Click the “Get Directions” link on the map to get detailed turn-by-turn driving directions for the entire itinerary.
Enjoy!
