The long Memorial Day weekend is nearly upon us. For any of you out there who will be in or around the Napa Valley, here are a couple events that should be worth checking out.
Enjoy!
Saturday, May 23rd
- From 9:30am – 11:30am the Culinary Institute of America at Greystone will host a class focused on the bold flavors from Tuscany. For $75 per person you’ll be able to explore various Tuscan cuisines that rely on fresh, quality ingredients, including pappardelle and tacconi pastas topped with a rich sauce made with game, wild mushrooms, or rabbit and sage. Call 707-967-2320 for more information on this Tuscan comfort food class
- O’Brien Estate Winery will host a Paella and wine tasting event from 6pm – 11pm. For $40 per person ($25 per person for club members) you’ll be treated to “heaping dishes of Paella” from Gerard’s Paella along with tastes of various O’Brien wines. After dinner, there will be a movie on the side of the winery and guests will be able to take a stroll through the candlelit vineyards. Contact Stella Williams at 707-252-8463 for more information
