Apologies for the somewhat infrequent posts of late–it’s been a busy couple of weeks…the good news is things promise to get back to some semblance of ‘normal’ following the upcoming Memorial Day holiday next week.

- Cliff Lede Vineyards (we can second this suggestion, the 2007 Sauvignon Blanc is very near the top of our list)

St. Helena’s Casa Nuestra Winery reviewed
The folks at the Chronicle also made their way up to Casa Nuestra recently. In giving the winery a three-star review, here’s what they had to say about the wine:
Casa Nuestra’s 2,000 cases of a dozen-plus wines are sold only through its wine clubs and at the winery. Almost all the fruit is sourced from about 20 acres of the organic vineyards. Among the winery’s defining bottlings are European-style field blends that include up to nine varietals. On the low end of the price range is a yearly changing Cabernet-Merlot blend, Two Goats Red.
