It’s only mid-May, but a hint of Summer is in the air.

The weather forecast is calling for warm–dare we say hot–temperatures for the weekend, so here are a couple events that should allow you to relax and soak up the sun.

Saturday, May 16th

  • From 11am – 3pm Alpha Omega Winery in St. Helena will host its Spring wine event. For $20 per person, you’ll get to pair the winery’s Sauvignon Blanc Napa Valley 2008 and Rose 2008 with four gourmet pizzas, including tuna tartar and crème fresh, raspberry, almond, marscapone and extra virgin olive oil, duck with arugula and fresh Mozzarella with a slight smoked tomato sauce. Sounds yummy! Save your spot by RSVPing to Bruce at 707-302-1130
  • The Verismo Family will celebrate “Maia Carnaval” by hosting an afternoon of jazz, authentic Italian BBQ, art, jewelry and exclusive wines. The event will take place at the Verismo Wines Washington Square location in Yountville and seniors and children under ten will eat for free, everyone else will have to come up with $8 per person (free with a wine purchase). Call 707-944-9463 for more information

Enjoy yourselves!
