Thomas Keller, the world renown chef behind The French Laundry, has made a few changes to the menu at his casual Napa Valley restaurant, Ad Hoc (photos).
The restaurant his just launched a new breakfast menu that will be offered every Sunday from 10am – 1pm. Priced at $24 per person, the menu consists of two courses of “classic” American breakfast items. According to the company, Keller created this new approach to “…capture the nostalgia of a homemade breakfast shared around the family table.”
Diners will initially be treated to a selection of pastries and muffins from Keller’s Bouchon Bakery as well as a seasonal yogurt parfait, followed by a core menu of entrées including:
- The “Classic American”, which consists of two eggs any style, scallion potato cakes, Fatted Calf breakfast sausage and slab bacon
- “Sourdough Waffles”, which come with with maple syrup, apple compote, whipped cream, Fatted Calf breakfast sausage and slab bacon
- “Anson Mills Stone Cut Oatmeal”, which is served with brown sugar, Marshall’s farm honey, spiced apricots and raisins
There will also be one to two specials each week as well as a breakfast beverage menu featuring fresh squeezed juices, sangria, mimosas, and an assortment of Champagnes and sparkling wines.
