After an extremely hot, summer-like week we’re expecting a slightly cooler, but still very nice weekend here in the Napa Valley.

We’ve got quite a few events of note this week, check them out and enjoy!

Saturday, April 25th

  • The 12th annual Kitchens in the Vineyards home tour will take place between 9:30am – 4:30pm. For $65 per person (with all proceeds going to benefit Music in the Vineyards), you’ll get to visit five, stunning, Napa Valley homes featuring kitchens, dining rooms, entertainment areas and gardens — all enhanced by springtime floral designs and table settings. At each home you’ll get to enjoy tastings offered by local chefs and meet authors available to autograph their cookbooks. Due to the exclusive nature of the homes on this year’s tour, shuttle buses will transport patrons to two of the five homes. Home locations and more detailed information regarding the logistics of the self-guided tour will accompany your ticket. Call 707-258-5559 for more information
  • Between 11am – 5pm the Pope Valley Vintners will host a wine tasting event at Pope Valley Winery (located at 6613 Pope Valley Road in Pope Valley). For $20 per person, you’ll get to taste wines made from the regions exceptional vineyards and all proceeds will be donated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. You can get tickets by calling 707-965-1246
  • Mount Veeder Winery will host a “Celebrate the Mountain” party to mark the release of the 2005 Mount Veeder Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon and 2006 Mount Veeder Cabernet Sauvignon from 12pm – 4pm. For $45 per person ($25 per person for club members and their guests), you’ll be able to munch on appetizers while sampling barrel selections and current releases. In addition, you’ll be able to check out the photography of local artist Vi Bottaro. The event will be held at Fraciscan Winery in St. Helena and you can reserve your ticket by calling 707-967-3897

Sunday, April 26th

  • Our neighbors at Andretti Winery in Napa will host the 4th annual ‘Taste of Tuscany’ benefit from 2pm – 4pm. For $60 per person ($100 per couple, $125 per family), you’ll get to enjoy Italian-inspired food, wines, a silent auction and music in an Old World villa setting. Proceeds from the event will go to Family Service of Napa Valley. Call 707-255-0966 x10 for more details

Happy weekend all!
