This past weekend we dropped by Oxbow Public Market in downtown Napa to check out the first birthday celebration they were having. The place was jam-packed and every vendor had special items for sale and many were doing fun giveaways.
The market and surrounding area has certainly taken a hit with the closing of neighboring COPIA, so it was nice to see so much activity–hopefully it is something that can be sustained!
A couple of our favorite places to check out include the Michelin-rated Pica Pica Maize Kitchen, and the newly opened Hog Island Oyster Co. for good eats. If you’re looking for great wine, we recommend Folio Enoteca and Wine Bar and you can’t go wrong with Oxbow Wine Merchant and Wine Bar.
