With Spring here, another Napa Valley restaurant goes to work on its patio scene

For the past several days we’ve seen lots of work taking place in-and-around the patio at one of our favorite local restaurants.

This morning as we made our way past Rutherford Grill, which is owned by the Hillstone Restaurant Group, we saw a massive crane installing large new trees around the outdoor seating area.

The patio was already a very comfortable place to kick-back on a warm afternoon or evening with a nice glass of Sauvignon Blanc and an appetizer. A Rutherford Grill representative told us today the restaurant was doing “quite a lot of landscaping” and subsequently the patio would be closed for the foreseeable future. Otherwise, the restaurant is still open and it’s business as usual.
