Friday, February 20th
- Viader Winery in Deer Park will host an open house from 3pm – 6pm. The theme is “rocking the boat” and the event will feature a 2007 Petit Verdot that is being called Pirate “V.” The event is free and everyone who comes in costume will receive “the ultimate treasure”. Saturday, February 21st
- Adam Sandler’s “Bedtime Stories“, which was filmed partly at Castello di Amorosa in Calistoga, will have a one-time showing at The Cameo Cinema in St. Helena at 11am. Castello di Amorosa’s owner Dario Sattui and Pat Krueger, the winery’s Vice President of Marketing & Public Affairs, will speak about the experience of having the movie made at the Castello. Each attendee will receive a free small popcorn. The screening is a benefit for The Young School in St. Helena. Tickets cost $15 and can be purchased in advance at the theater’s box office
- St. Supery’s winery chef, Ron Barber, will host a cooking demonstration from 2pm – 3pm that illustrates the techniques of using wine to enhance the flavor of foods. For $35 per person, you’ll enjoy the demo as well as a tasting of estate-grown wines and the featured recipe. Reservations are required and can be made by calling 800-231-9116
