A big weekend is nearly upon us. Not only is it Valentine’s Day on Saturday, but it’s also a long weekend here in the U.S. as Monday is President’s Day. For those of you who will be in/around the Napa Valley, we’ve got a few events of note.
There will obviously be no shortage of $100+ per person activities taking place on Valentine’s Day, but we’ve found a few far more cost effective events for those that may be looking to celebrate without breaking the bank. Enjoy!
Saturday, February 14th
- V. Sattui Winery will be offering $5 per person ‘classic’ wine tastings and $10 per person ‘premium’ tastings and is inviting folks to enjoy a picnic on its beautiful grounds. The picnic is a great suggestion, but the weather is not predicted to be conducive to such activity this weekend. The winery, which will also be featuring long-stem strawberries hand-dipped in rich milk chocolate, is open from 9am – 5pm. Call 707-963-7774 for more information
- Hartwell Vineyards will host an open house from 11am – 4pm that will feature chocolate and wine. The best part? For just $25 per person, you’ll be treated to a tasting of the winery’s library Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon, including the ’02, ’03 and ’04 vintages. Call 707-255-4269 for more details
Saturday, February 14th and Sunday, February 15th
- Beringer Vineyards will host a special tasting in its historic Rhine House Mansion between 11am – 4pm. For $10 per person you’ll be treated to different vintages of the winery’s classic Port, professionally paired with sweet treats. Call 707-963-8989 x2222 for more information
Happy Valentine’s/President’s weekend everyone!
