The latest video installment from our friends at Adopt-a-Grape is here.
In this one, winemaker Heidi Barrett gives a recap of the unusual growing season that has just passed. It was a year that saw Mother Nature throw several curve-balls to local farmers, with late Spring frost leading to some 35-40% lower yields across most of the valley.
In addition to some thoughts on the current year’s crop, Barrett notes that 2007 (last year’s crop) is turning out to be a “magnificent vintage”.
