Cork Bits: ideas for your Napa Valley weekend

Well, the final weekend before the Thanksgiving holiday is upon us. Here are a couple Napa Valley events scheduled for this weekend that you may want to check out. Also, don’t forget to check out our events calendar for more upcoming activities or to submit your future event.

Saturday, November 22nd

  • The first winery at the southern end of Silverado Trail, Luna Vineyards, will do a special reserve tasting limited to 10 people between 1pm – 3pm. For $35 per person, host Alex Castillo will take guests into the Reserve Room for an intimate reserve wine and cheese experience. Call 707-255-5862 ext. 109 to make an advance reservation.

Saturday, November 22nd and Sunday, November 23rd

  • Join nearly 20 Carneros wineries for the Holiday in Carneros open house weekend. There will be wine and eats, arts and crafts, music and other special events taking place at each of the participating wineries. For the $40 per person, you’ll get your Holiday in Carneros logo glass, as well as wine tasting and unique offerings planned by the individual wineries. Among the Napa Valley wineries participating are Bouchaine Vineyards, Ceja Vineyards, Truchard Vineyards and more. The event runs from 10am – 4pm each day. Call 800-909-4352 for all the details
