Despite the fact that it is mid-November, the weather is suppose to be absolutely spectacular this weekend here in the Napa Valley. Get out there and enjoy it while it lasts!

Here are a couple events you may want to check out–as always, for more events or to add an upcoming event, visit the Uncork29 events calendar.

Friday, November 14th and Saturday, November 15th

  • The Jarvis Conservatory in Napa will host the 12th Annual Puppet Festival & Workshop on Friday and Saturday. There will be performances of “Little Red Riding Bug” and “Rapunzel” and the workshop will provide participants with the chance to see the backstage secrets of the puppeteers. Cost is $15 for adults and $10 for kids and showtimes are 7pm on Friday and 2:30pm on Saturday (workshop at 1pm on Saturday). Call 707-255-5445 for more information

Saturday, November 15th

  • St. Supery winery will be providing a behind the scenes glimpse into what happens at a prime Napa Valley winery between 11am – 12pm. For $30 per person you’ll visit the cellar with a wine educator and learn about the entire winemaking process from crushing to bottling. At the conclusion of the tour you’ll be treated to a barrel tasting of the winery’s estate grown reds. Call 800-942-0809 ext. 58 for more details

Saturday, November 15th and Sunday, November 16th

  • Clos du Val winery on the Silverado Trail will be offering discounts on magnum purchases (great for large gatherings) in the tasting room this weekend as part of its annual ‘Let’s Talk Turkey’ promotion. Call 707-261-5225 for more details

Enjoy it!
