Another week has come and nearly gone. Not sure about all of you, but we’re very much looking forward to the weekend.

The good news is there’s certainly no shortage of interesting food, wine and entertainment activities on tap here in the Napa Valley…

Saturday, November 8th

  • Food Network Chef Tyler Florence, COPIA’s new Dean of Culinary Studies, will be on hand at COPIA between 11am – 12pm to demo a recipe or two in COPIA’s Viking Outdoor Demonstration Kitchen. He’ll also be signing his new books, “Tyler Florence: Stirring the Pot” and “Tyler Florence: Dinner at My Place”. The event is free and you can call 888-51-COPIA for more information
  • If one celebrity per weekend isn’t enough for you, you can go check out Bill Cosby, who will be performing two shows (3pm and 8pm) at the Lincoln Theater in Yountville. Tickets run between $69 – $89 per person. Call 707-944-1300 for more information

Saturday, November 8th and Sunday, November 9th

  • The semi-annual Silver Pass weekend will be taking place along Silverado Trail this weekend. Wineries such as Hagafen Cellars, Midsummer Cellars, Monticello Vineyards (see our full review here), Signorello Vineyards, Titus Vineyards and many more will offer special tastings, library releases, barrel samplings, food and more. All you have to do is purchase a one or two day pass and hit the Trail–proceeds from pass sales will go to the Child Development Centers of the Napa County School District. Cost is $30 per person for a one day pass and $50 per person for the weekend pass (note: pricing is for pre-orders)

Happy weekend!
