You’ll note that posting has been a bit light these past few days–and for good reason. You see, we’ve been busy preparing for a house full of people who came over this past weekend to celebrate our little guy’s first birthday. Yep, believe it or not, little Aidan is now officially working on year two on the planet and he’s growing up right before our very eyes.

On Saturday we hosted a party for him, with the kids drinking juice and water and the adults enjoying sips from a large format bottle of 2004 Merryvale Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Vineyard X to go along with some catered BBQ from the folks at Red Rock. We’re also quite excited to try the 2003 Stonegate Diamond Mountain District Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon we got as a host gift.

Oh, and yes, the little guy did enjoy his first taste of cake too! :)
