Everyone once in a while, you come across something that makes you stop and think for a moment. Late last week we were reading one of our favorite blogs and got a good chuckle out of one of the entries about a funny sign in Fremont.
The Boing Boing post reminded us that we’ve never snapped a photo of an interesting sign that sits on southern Silverado Trail in Napa–in the general vicinity of Judd’s Hill. The sign, pictured below, always makes us stop and ponder its meaning for a moment…
Some quick research tells us that ‘clean dirt’ refers to dirt without gravel or rocks in it. We get it, but to us, clean dirt still seems like an oxymoron.

I wish I could just put a sign up for things I wanted in Boston.

What a coincidence…I just happened to wash all my dirt over the weekend. I wonder if they’ll pick it up.
