Well, we’re nearly half-way through the month of June (my how time flies), so you know what that means. Yep, in addition to sun and BBQ’s, it’s Father’s Day this weekend. Here are a few local events that may be of interest to all you dad’s out there (as well as everyone else!)
Saturday, June 14th
- The 6th Annual Walk Through the Vineyards will take place at St. Supery Vineyards & Winery starting with registration at 8am sharp. Benefiting the Napa Valley Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, the festivities include a 3K walk (starting at 9am) through the vineyards, a light breakfast, a jazz band with a special singing performance, a wine bottle ring toss contest and a silent auction. Cost is $30 per person in advance or $40 per person on Saturday. Call 415-543-3549 for more details.
- St. Clement Vineyards will host a barbecue and carnival-themed cellar sale from 10am – 4pm. In addition to fun and food, the winery will be offering sale prices (some up to 60% off) on wine and merchandise. There’s no charge for the event, and wine club members get a special sneak peak at the sale priced items from 10am – 12pm.
Sunday, June 15th
- V Marketplace will host a Father’s Day Invitational Auto Show from 11am – 4pm. If Dad is into cars, head on over to Yountville, where you’ll be able to check out (for free) Packard, Pierce Arrow, Ford, Ferrari, M.G., Mercedes Benz and more than 100 early and late model autos spanning some 90 years of production. Call 707-944-2451 for more information.
- Rubicon Estate (formerly known as Niebaum-Coppola Winery), which is located at 1991 St. Helena Highway in Rutherford, will setup a cigar lounge at its Mammarella’s courtyard between 10am – 5pm. For $25, you’ll get access to the lounge, which will be complete with an offering of the Director’s line of cigars and unique cigar accouterments. If Dad is into cigars and wine, call 707-968-1151 to make a reservation.
Happy Father’s Day weekend everyone!
