There’s no shortage of Napa Valley itineraries out there online these days. With a slew of wineries, restaurants and other activities, we’ve often said there is truly something for everyone in our little neck of the woods.
To that end, we enjoyed reading a recent article in the Wall Street Journal written by none other than Julia Flynn Siler (if you don’t recall who she is, see our previous coverage and interview with her).
Anyway, Siler’s article is centered on how to ‘do’ the Napa Valley without the wine–and we found it to be quite a good read. Very thorough–do check it out if you’re planning to visit Napa, it’s loaded with solid suggestions.
We also enjoyed the accompanying video of Daryl Sattui’s Castello di Amorosa, which we reviewed in the days after it opened. Video is here (we attempted to embed it, but were having some issues so a link will have to do).
