Baldacci Family Vineyards is a small, family-run winery located at 6236 Silverado Trail in Napa. The winery has just announced the release of its 2005 IV Sons Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine, which retails for $35 per 750ml bottle and is 14.9% alcohol by volume, is made up of 97% Cabernet Sauvignon and 3% Cabernet Franc from the Stags Leap District. Here’s the winery’s description of the new wine:
With aromas full of dried black fruit, cherries and figs, this wine is supple and full-bodied. The tannins are pure Stags Leap  velvety and lingering. Hints of mocha and a dusting of oak fill out the flavor profile making this the perfect wine to pair with many meals from Pepperoni Pizza to Pasta Bolognese or stewed Chicken Cacciatore. Our IV Sons will age fantastically for 5 to 7 years.
As part of a pre-Father’s Day promotion, if you order the wine prior to June 15th, you’ll receive the price of last year’s vintage, which is $30 per 750ml bottle.
